ADIDAS adiZero ROSE – Black/University Red

This summer, Derrick Rose has helped lead Team USA to a 3-0 FIBA World Championship start. The speedy point guard from Chicago (personally and professionally) has set the tone for a squad that looks to bring the United States its first World Championship gold medal since 1994. In addition to emerging as one of Team USA’s leaders this summer, Rose has also emerged as one of the leading faces of adidas Basketball. The result is the release of his signature shoe, the adiZero Rose, in October.

The adiZero Rose features a synthetic upper, with breathable Sprint Skin mesh on the medial side and a reptile finish on the lateral side. The shoe is described as lightweight and low-cut, though the detached collar gives it the appearance of a higher cut shoe. The collar itself is made to accommodate Rose’s trademark Speed Wrap ankle supports, but is adjustable to players who don’t wear them. Seen here is a predominantly black colorway, with red working accent points throughout. Small hits of white work on the outsole to complete the Chicago color trio.

You can pick up the adiZero Rose at retailers, like Footlocker, on October 22nd.
